Elimination of Wasps
There are different types of wasps, each with specific characteristics that determine the method used in their elimination. Their activity depends on the heat and their biological cycle. We must approach them with care due to the allergic reactions they can cause, which can be serious in people and animals. It’s necessary to find the wasp nest and deal with it using the necessary means to avoid receiving any harm. Wasps attack as a defense mechanism, so if we share common areas with them and they have nested on our property, it’s necessary to remove the nest to eliminate their presence.
Tratamiento
- Removal of the wasp nest.
- Use of traps and pheromone monitors.
- Use of chemical insecticides by spraying.
- Use of powdered insecticides.
Types of wasps we control
Common Wasp
Vespula vulgaris.
There are different types that we can find in our area. With a size between 1 and 2 cm and different yellow and black colors. The combs can be made of vegetable fiber, mud or in holes in the ground.
Asiatic Wasp
Vespa crabro.
Vespa velutina o asiática.
Wasps larger than 3cm. It is convenient not to confuse the crabro (native, reddish) with the asian, more aggressive and dangerous.
Bees
Apis mellifera.
Similar in size to the common wasp, but more hairy. They have an essential function for which they are protected. We work with certified beekeepers to reintroduce them into the natural environment.
Do you have any doubt?
After the treatment, it is important to ensure the complete removal of the hive. Additionally, sealing all entry points in the location where it was located, such as cracks and holes, can help prevent future nestings.
We use safe and approved chemical products by health authorities for pest control. Additionally, our technicians are highly trained to apply these products safely and effectively, minimizing any risks to your family and pets.
Our treatments are effective from the first moment. We eliminate the nest (wasp nest) once located, ensuring that we end the problem caused by wasps.
In most cases, it is not necessary to vacate the house or business during treatment. However, we recommend taking precautions and following the instructions of the pest control technician to minimize any exposure to the chemicals used. It may be necessary to temporarily evacuate the area to ensure safety when the insects are under attack.
